List Your Hamilton Business With One Text Message
Lucilla is an AI agent you reach by text. Listing a business takes one message, costs nothing, and we are looking for the first 100 in Hamilton.

Hamilton, We Are Looking For The First 100 Businesses
Lucilla is an AI agent you reach by text message, on WhatsApp, or in the app. It lists local businesses, runs their deals, and helps people nearby find them in plain language. We are building that network here in Hamilton, Ontario, and we are looking for the first 100 businesses on it. Being early is the honest offer right now. As of today there are 66 people with Lucilla accounts and 11 business profiles, and almost none of those businesses have a live offer yet. We are not going to dress that up. What is already built and working is the part that usually stops a small shop cold: getting listed at all.
Listing Takes One Text Message
No app to install. No website to build. No dashboard to learn. No account, no password, no onboarding call. You text one sentence from the phone you already carry, and you are listed. That constraint is deliberate. The owner of a barbershop, a bakery, or a repair shop on Ottawa Street is realistically never going to build a website or log into an admin panel, and that is exactly why so many of them are invisible the moment someone nearby searches for what they sell. The gap is not effort and it is not interest. It is the setup cost attached to every tool that has ever been pitched to them. So we took the setup out.
What It Costs
Nothing to list. Nothing to run a deal. Lucilla does not take a cut of the sale, does not touch your payments, and does not sit between you and your customer at the counter. You keep the transaction exactly as you run it today, and the discount is whatever you decide it is. We put this near the top because it is the first question every owner asks, and a vague answer to it is a perfectly good reason to ignore a text from a stranger.
A Real Example
Here is what it actually looks like. An owner texts their business name, their address, what they sell, and their hours, in one message, in ordinary words, the way they would tell a customer over the counter. The agent reads that message, pulls out the name, the address, the category, and the opening hours, and creates the listing from it. Then they text a keyword deal: TACO10 - 10% off tacos. The agent sets the deal live and sends back a QR code they can print and stick next to the register. Two messages, and the business is on the map with something real to offer.
What Happens Step By Step
1. You text the agent one sentence describing your business. 2. It parses out the name, address, category and hours, creates the listing, and confirms back to you in the same thread. 3. You text a deal as a keyword plus a plain description, like TACO10 - 10% off tacos. 4. That deal is what earns you a pin on the map. A listing with no live offer is still searchable, but it does not get pinned, because a pin should mean there is something there worth walking to today. 5. A customer texts what they actually want in ordinary language, such as somewhere to get a birthday cake near Locke Street, and the agent answers with businesses that match, yours among them. 6. The customer texts your keyword back and gets a claim code. 7. You get a message telling you someone claimed it, so you know the deal did something.
The Same Agent Runs More Than Deals
Deals are the entry point, not the ceiling. Cashback rewards paid in USDC, events, and group meetups all run through the same agent and the same text thread. A cafe can post a Saturday morning run club. A venue can sell tickets to a show. A shop can put a small cashback reward behind a purchase instead of a flat percentage off. A resident can text one number and find any of it. That is the part we care about most: connecting a city, its businesses, its people, and the things worth doing this week, through one agent layer, so that exploring where you live is social and rewarding instead of a search-engine chore.
If You Run A Business In Hamilton
Text +1 (314) 237-4046 with your business name, address, what you sell, and your hours, and you will get a listing back in the same thread. If you would rather look before you text, everything else is at lucilla.app. If you live here rather than run a shop here, text the same number and ask for what you want. The network is small today. The honest reason to join now is that the businesses who are early are the ones people find first.
